Itinerary:
Day 01: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA
Welcome to Guwahati. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/Railway Station and proceed for Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros” (300 kms 5 hrs), Check in at your hotel/Lodge/resort, In the late afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park. You can roam by the local villages surrounded by tea gardens Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: KAZIRANGA Local
Early morning explore Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world’s endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world’s population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher’s paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla’s Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here.After safari Return to hotel for Breakfast and in the afternoon visit Orchid park near Kaziranga. In the afternoon you can enjoy sumptuous ethnic lunch in the Orchid Park . In the evening enjoy cultural show at the Orchid park that start @ 6 pm. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG
Today morning enjoy safari at a different range at Kaziranga national park. After breakfast check out from hotel and start your journey to Shillong, also called ‘Scotland of the East” (100 kms 3 hrs). On the way see the majestic Umiam Lake (Barapani) surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies. You may enjoy boating there. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. In the afternoon visit Don Bosco Monument, Lady Hydri Park. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 04: SHILLONG- KRANG SURI – PHE PHE FALLS- SHILLONG (90 KMS/ 3hrs)
After breakfast drive to visit Krang suri waterfall in Jowai. Krang suri waterfalls is among one of the most picturesque water falls in Meghalaya with lush greeneries around and turquoise waters. Then visit Phe phe falls. On return visit Laitlum Canyons(IF TIME PERMITS) –one of the most picturesque destinations from where the vast, verdant and fascinating panorama of Meghalaya can be experienced. The Laitlum Canyons depict the literal sense ‘The End of the hills’ which is nestled in the embrace of majestic hills and valleys. It is worth watching the sunset there. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 05: SHILLONG – CHERAPUNJEE (SOHRA) (65 KMS/1½hrs)-SHILLONG
Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong and after breakfast at 07:30 A.M drive to Cherrapunjee (65 kms 1½hrs), which is regarded as the wettest place in the world. On the way you can visit Elephant falls. Then stop at Duwan Sing Syiem view point for mesmerizing views of the Hills. On the way visit Arwah Cave- enjoy the picturesque view and the path that leads to the cave. It is a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the Nohsngithiang Falls, the beautiful waterfall-Nohkalikai is at Cherrapunjee. You can also explore Eco Park , Mawsmai cave, Dainthlen falls, in and around Cherrapunjee as per your time permits. Overnight stay in Shillong.
(If time permits visit Weisawdong waterfall which is located just 3 kms ahead of Dainthlen. But it requires trekking and the route is not made of concrete)
Day 06: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI- SHILLONG
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed for day tour to Mawlynnong Village. On the way visit Shillong peak. Mawlynnong, The cleanest village of Asia where you can enjoy the scenic beauty. In the adjacent Riwai village you can explore the Single living root bridge. Then proceed to Dawki where you can visit the Indo- Indian border, the panoramic view of the suspension bridge over the ear Umgnot river known for crystal clear water. You can enjoy boating in the river. Return to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 07: SHILLONG –GUWAHATI (90 kms- 2 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Guwahati . On arrival check in at hotel.
In the evening enjoy river cruise at the mighty river Brahmaputra with / without dinner.(Optional).

You can opt for visiting the local market . Assam is famous for Silk particularly for the golden thread called Muga silk , Paat silk, Eri clothes, Assam tea, bell metal products and bamboo and cane products.

In the evening you may visit the Tea Lounge at GTAC or the Guwahati Tea Auction centreWhere you can enjoy a wide variety of different types of Tea like (Yellow Tea, White Tea, Oolong Tea, Purple Tea, and Silver Needles Tea) produced in Assam. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Guwahati – Pabitora WLS – Guwahati local sightseeing
After breakfast you can choose to proceed to Nilachal hill to visit Kamakhya Temple which is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Then proceed to Pabitora home to the densest population of One-horned Rhinos in the world.
If time permits, You can enjoy ropeway ride across the mighty river Brahmaputra from where you can enjoy the bird’s eye view of Umananda temple . Then visit Dighali Pukhuri, The State Meuseum, The Brahmaputra Heritage Centre, Basistha Temple and navagraha temple etc. as per time permits and interests .

ABOUT KAMAKHYA:
Situated on top of the Nilachal Hill, Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti worship in the world. Kamakhya temple is also famed for the annual Ambubachi Mela held for 4 days during monsoon season. There are images of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Chamundi and many dance fixtures. Situated on the Nilachal Hill, the temple structure resembles a Shikhara – a beehive. Besides the main Devi temple, there are temples of 10 Mahavidyas in and around temple. These include Bhuvaneshvari, Bagalamukhi, Chinnamasta,Tripura Sundari, Tara, Kali, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Matangi and Kamala Temples. Temple doors remain open for devotees in the following timings – 08:00 am to 01:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Day 09 : DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel. Tour ends with everlasting memories ; transfer to LGBI airport for onward journey.
Note: The itinerary is not fixed, it might be changed according to flight arrival and departure timings.

- Mandatory X- Mas / New Year Eve/ Peak season surcharge, Supplementary charges , that should be paid by the guest directly to the hotels concerned.

Note For Kaziranga:
Officially Kaziranga National Park remains closed from 1st June – 31st October. However Kaziranga would open for tourists on 20th Of October. During October one can enjoy Jeep Safari; but official opening of Elephant safari is from 1st of November. As this year in 2021 flood occurred in Kaziranga National Park; it is yet to decide whether Elephant Safari will be opened on 1st November or not. And therefore it is not possible to commit elephant safaris in the month of October.
Safaries at Kaziranga:
Kaziranga National Park has 4 different ranges for safari. They are the Central or the Kohora Range, Western or the Bagori range, Eastern or the Agratoli range and the Burapahar or Ghorakati range. However if the guest wishes to explore the other ranges also then the same can be arranged at an extra cost. Timings for Elephant Safari are mornings 5.15 AM to 6.15 AM and 6.15 AM to 7.15 AM. Afternoon 3 PM to 4 PM. Timings for Jeep Safari are mornings 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM. Afternoon 2 PM to 4 PM and 3 PM to 5 PM.
Safari Guidelines
- Safari is managed by our representative in the National Parks / Wild life Sanctuaries
- Our representative will meet the guest in the evening at about 6:30 – 7:00 pm and provide all required information.
- We are not responsible for cancellation of safari by the authorities
- Sometimes, during season, the Parks may remain closed for census. This is announced only 2-3 days prior. We are not responsible for cancellation of safari in such a case.
- Refunds for safari, if any, will be transferred back to the agent and will not behanded over to guest
- In one jeep 06 passengers are allowed.
Note:
- All travellers who wish to visit the State of Meghalaya, will need to mandatorily register on the Meghalaya Tourism App and generate an E-Invite for the proposed itinerary.
- A valid Photo ID card needs to be uploaded on the Meghalaya Tourism App including that of other members who are traveling in the group. Members travelling together can register and generate one E-Invite.
- It is mandatory to book at least an over-night stay (either hotel/ homestay/ guest house) for the first night and declaration of the complete itinerary for the e-invite to be generated.
- If the traveller is staying as a guest of any family or friend in Meghalaya, then the traveller shall declare the full address and contact details of the family or friend and the complete itinerary for the E-Invite to be generated.
- Once the above is completed, the travellers will receive an E-Invite that should be presented at the entry checkpoints along with a COVID negative certificate.
- If Double doses of covid Vaccine is taken then Covid Negative certificate is not mandatory.
